Deep Building Products Industry Expertise

April Murray brings over 30 years of financial leadership experience, with nearly three decades in the building materials and construction sectors. Her career is anchored by an impressive 27-year tenure at Louisiana-Pacific Corporation, where she progressed through increasingly senior roles to Director of Finance and ultimately served as Chief Financial Officer of Entekra LLC, a Louisiana-Pacific subsidiary. At LP, she served as financial leader for Supply Chain, Growth and Innovation, Global Business Services, and Strategic Sourcing, while also holding positions as Functional Controller-Corporate and SOX Compliance Manager. Her work consistently focused on connecting finance with operations, sales, and functional groups to drive collaboration and business partnerships.

In the final 2.5 years of her tenure at LP, April served as CFO of Entekra LLC, a Louisiana-Pacific subsidiary specializing in precision-engineered building components and panelized construction systems. During her tenure from 2020 to 2022, she was a key member of the management team, partnering with the CEO, COO, and Board of Directors on operational, strategic, and financial matters during a period of significant growth. She oversaw all financial functions including accounting, treasury, credit, insurance, tax, contract governance, and ERP system management, while developing capital and cash management processes that supported the company’s rapid expansion. April also coordinated quarterly Entekra Board meetings and presented regularly at LP Board Meetings.
