The Business
Our client is a captive building materials manufacturing division operating within a larger, parent organization generating over $450 million in revenue. The manufacturing entity contributes approximately $100 million in revenue and produces roll-formed products for distribution through a vertically integrated supply chain.
The business operates with approximately 150 employees and maintains a strong foundation for growth, including planned facility expansion, second-shift implementation, and a defined roadmap for automation and robotics deployment. The parent organization’s scale provides financial stability and strategic investment capacity to support meaningful infrastructure and leadership development.
The Opportunity
The President of Manufacturing has been created to lead the division through its next phase of operational growth and efficiency transformation. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented leadership position with five direct reports and full accountability for manufacturing performance across operations with significant room for physical and operational expansion.
The President will lead the identification, procurement, and deployment of automation and robotics technology to drive productivity, reduce labor dependency, and position the facility for long-term scalability. Equally important is building a culture of operational accountability and continuous improvement – one that is grassroots in nature and embedded at every level of the organization rather than imposed from above.
The organization is actively planning additional manufacturing capacity, and the President will serve as a cross-functional peer to executive leadership across related divisions – including distribution and component manufacturing operations – ensuring alignment across the full supply chain.
