The Opportunity:
As an Outside Sales Representative covering North Florida, you will be tasked with expanding the company’s market share by driving direct sales to roofing contractors. This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone with a proactive mindset and the ability to create lasting relationships within the building materials and roofing market. You will leverage your expertise in metal roofing to help contractors understand the unique value of the products and services offered by the company.
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the metal roofing, building materials, or roofing industry, selling to contractors.
- Hunter Mentality: A strong desire to hunt for new business and grow a client base from scratch. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a high-energy, target-driven sales environment.
- Proven Success: A history of successful relationship building and a proven track record of achieving sales targets through value-driven selling, not just focusing on price.
- Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of metal roofing or building materials to effectively communicate the unique selling points of the products and drive sales.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to interact confidently with contractors through a strategic consultative partnership.
