Marketing Intern | Summer 2026

ABOUT THE ROLE

Misura Group is growing, and our marketing department has serious momentum. This internship exists because there is real work to be done, and we are looking for someone who wants to be in the middle of it.

You will work directly with the Marketing Director, getting hands-on exposure to how a lean, high-performing marketing function operates inside a specialized executive search firm. This is not a coffee-and-copy role. From day one, you will be involved in strategy conversations, tactical execution, audience segmentation, and the kind of behind-the-scenes work that keeps a growing brand moving forward.

The internship spans two primary workstreams: podcast production and marketing database development. Both are high-visibility, directly tied to Misura Group’s growth in the Lumber and Building Materials (LBM) space, and will give you a front-row seat to what it actually looks like to build a brand in a niche, relationship-driven industry.

What You Will Be Doing
Podcast Production and Distribution

  • Download and verify podcast episode recordings
  • Download and format transcripts for review and approval
  • Upload, edit, and clean episodes in the designated podcast platform
  • Assemble final branded episodes with intro/outro and name overlays
  • Create a minimum of three social media teaser clips per episode
  • Work with the Marketing Director to draft LinkedIn post copy to accompany each teaser clip
  • Upload audio and video files to our YouTube channel
  • Support website posting and email distribution

Marketing Segmentation and Database Development

  • Audit and clean existing contact lists for accuracy and completeness
  • Work with the Marketing Director to define segment criteria aligned to campaign goals
  • Build segmentation lists by audience type: candidates, hiring managers, C-suite, dealer contacts, and industry partners
  • Apply tagging and categorization logic in Excel and the CRM system
  • Support list hygiene as new contacts are added through recruiting and BD activity
  • Assist with list imports, audience grouping, and campaign tagging

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Skills, Experience, and Who Thrives Here

Required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Comfortable with LinkedIn and social media platforms
  • Familiarity with podcasts and audio/video content
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Highly organized with sharp attention to detail

Bonus Points

  • Experience with podcast tools such as Riverside, Teams, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact
  • YouTube Studio or video publishing experience
  • CRM or contact database management experience

If you are the kind of person who wants to understand the why behind the work, not just the what, this role was built for you.
