Our client is a Market Leading Architectural Door and Hardware Distributor and Solutions provider serving the commercial And Multi Family construction markets across the Midwest. With a history dating back over 80 years, the company has built its reputation on delivering complete opening and specialty solutions, combining deep product expertise with strong manufacturer partnerships and a full suite of services spanning design, material supply, and installation. The organization operates out of multiple facilities and continues to grow its footprint through strategic acquisitions and expanded service offerings.
The Opportunity
This is a Cradle to Grave role for a project manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The incoming Project Manager will assume end-to-end accountability for moderate-sized projects — from initial planning through final closeout — coordinating across contractors, vendors, architects, and internal teams to deliver on time, within scope, and to financial and quality expectations.
You will manage all project documentation, oversee material procurement and installation schedules, process change orders, and mentor junior project management staff. This role sits at the intersection of field execution and internal operations, working closely with Purchasing, Estimating, Scheduling, Accounts Receivable, and Shipping/Receiving to keep projects moving and margins intact.
What You Will Need to Be Successful
· Minimum of 5 years of project management experience Architectural Door and Hardware industry
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage contractor, architect, manufacturer, and vendor relationships effectively
· Highly organized with strong time management, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
· AHC Certification is preferred but not a requirement
